Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service(SGH) has expanded its global cooperation network with a new key partnership. By the end of 2025, SGH had formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on mutual recognition with The Halal Standard Committee of the Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.

The Republic of Tatarstan is a significant Muslim-populated region and economic hub within the Russian Federation, and its Halal Standard Committee is one of the authoritative halal certification bodies in Russia. The signing of this MOU establishes a formal framework for cooperation between the two parties in areas such as mutual trust in halal standards, collaboration in certification procedures, and facilitation of services for businesses.

This partnership will provide a more efficient and reliable certification channel for halal product trade between Chinese, Russian, and Eurasian businesses, further expanding SGH's global service network.
